Rocky Mountain Chapter – VHPA

Don and Donna Rice have volunteered to roast a pig in conjunction with our monthly meeting on 26 April, which will be held at their home in Franktown. Actually the normal meeting date was moved to the 26th because of the Easter Weekend. Donna and Don will do the planning and cooking and they do this sort of thing quite often. If you are planning on attending, bring your family but be sure and RSVP to Donna or Don now. They need some advanced notice of attendees so they can have enough time to purchase the necessary accompaniments. They have the tents, tables, chairs and everything else needed. QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER:
Our Chapter Quarterly Newsletters are now accessible online. The Newsletters are Adobe Acrobat files and require the use of Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the files. If your computer does not have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, just click on the Adobe icon in the Newsletter section on the Homepage for easy access to that feature.

NOTAMS AND MEETING MINUTES ARCHIVES:
In an effort to reduce clutter on the Homepage past NOTAMS notices have been compartmented under a window on the Homepage. A similar format will be used for past meeting minutes in the near future.

HISTORY SECTION:
A navigation tab has been created at the top of the Homepage to direct readers to our History Section. As soon as we clean up some Optical Character Recognition (OCR) problems, we will post the original After Action Report of LTC Hal Moore on the battle of the Ia Drang Valley in November 1965.
