Minutes from February 2005 Chapter Meeting
President Bill Robie called the meeting to order at approximately 1:18 P. M. at The Buffalo Rose.
The Proposed Minutes for the January 15, 2005 meeting were presented by Secretary Roger D. Patterson. Moved to accept by Mike Law and seconded by Ed Fickes. Approved.
The Treasurer’s Report for February 19, 2005 was presented by Treasurer Roger D. Patterson. Motion to accept made by Ed Fickes and seconded by Rick Beaver. Approved.
Rick Beaver spoke on the status of the trailer and reported the door is about ready for installation. He is working on the floor, preparing to apply a second coat of urethane. The rear wall needs paneling.

REMEMBER, ANOTHER WORK DAY AT THE TRAILER MARCH 19 AT APPROXIMATELY 9:00 A.M.
President Bill Robie, Rick Beaver and Jim McNamee are to develop a plan for the inside of the trailer.
President Bill Robie reminded everyone again to get a list of their donation items for the trailer to Jim McNamee.
Mike Law spoke about the meeting he and Bill Robie had with the WYZE GUZS Company and the status for painting the outside walls of the trailer. Mike will focus on getting funds and completing the outside.
Treasurer Roger D. Patterson requested approval to reimburse Ed Fickes $300.00 for the rear internal door for the Trailer. A motion was made to approve the expenditure and seconded by Don Rice. Approved.
Terry Sullivan spoke about the moving wall being in Colorado Springs July 1 through July 7th and the need for workers to help with that presentation. (Noted: July 1st-7th is VHPA Reunion in San Francisco).
President Bill Robie spoke on the process for obtaining a surplus helicopter from DOD and that he was continuing that process.
President Bill Robie spoke on the wooden Helicopter models available and decided to wait until the March meeting to process an order.
President Bill Robie spoke about the social function for March 18, 2005 at Heritage Square Melodrama on March 18,2005 (Friday before March meeting). Attendees will meet at the Bar at 5:30 P. M. Cost is $34.50 per person and all who plan to attend need to contact President Bill Robie with numbers.
Mike Law, as newsletter editor, spoke on the next newsletter and the need to get information to him. He also spoke about his experience in interviewing an Air Force helicopter pilot and his experiences in Nam.
Membership Chairperson Walt Winters was present to accept dues and membership applications.
Meeting adjourned at approximately 2:00 P.M.
