Minutes from April 2005 Chapter Meeting
President Bill Robie called the meeting to order at approximately 1:07 P.M. at The Buffalo Rose Saloon in Golden.
Proposed Minutes for the March 19, 2005 meeting presented by Secretary Roger D. Patterson Moved by Ed Fickes; Seconded by Walt Winters. Approved.
Treasurers Report for April 16, 2005 meeting presented by Treasurer Roger D. Patterson. Moved by ?; Seconded by Brian Foote. Approved.
Mike Law spoke on the newsletter. He needs help with stories and pictures.
Rick Beaver reviewed the status of the trailer; He needs a counter top for the bar, he has been working on the bar layout; Brian Foote spoke on the bar design; Brian Foote, Rick Beaver & Ed Fickes to work on the Bar location.
Brian Foote spoke for Jim McNamee about items for the trailer and of the need for contributors to get a list of items to him. Also spoke on the display cases. Designed to be approximately 2’ by 3’.
Ed Fickes agreed to be Operations Officer for the trailer when it becomes ready to display.
President Bill Robie asked about audio and video status. Gregg Mann and Lyle Borders waiting for design layout.
President Bill Robie asked when the trailer could go on the road. Discussed level of completion needed before it goes on road. Everybody needs to pursue sources for outside painting. Don Rice has contract with Laprino Foods.
Lyle Borders and Gregg Mann spoke on trailer over riding all of Chapter meeting.
Next meeting at Castle Rocks May 21, 2005. Location for the meeting will be established by Brian Foote. Meeting to be primarily a social gathering.
President Bill Robie spoke on the Huey Project and his contact with State & Federal level GSA. The Chapter does not meet the requirements at either the State, Federal, or DOD level to receive a Huey. We need to associate with a certified Veterans group, Museum and/or Municipality.
Potential next project may be getting a Huey. President Bill Robie will continue to proceed with that effort.
Membership Chairperson Walt Winters was present to accept dues and membership applications.
Meeting adjourned at approximately 2:40 P.M.
